About the Position
STR is looking for a Lead Product Operations Manager to support its Mission Applications Group.
The position will improve the product development lifecycle. It will provide data to product and engineering managers while improving internal processes and customer feedback systems.
The role connects product, engineering, program, and marketing teams. It helps cross-functional teams build and deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
Decisions and Risk Management
- Facilitate discussions about product decisions.
- Help teams understand relationships between decisions.
- Identify and discuss project risks.
- Track follow-up actions.
- Keep teams coordinated.
- Support delivery timelines.
- Support program objectives.
Data and Analytics
- Track product usage metrics.
- Analyze feature adoption.
- Build product dashboards.
- Measure product performance.
- Provide useful data to product and engineering managers.
Process Optimization
- Maintain a current view of the cross-product roadmap.
- Improve communication across teams.
- Standardize product operations processes.
- Support critical path planning.
- Identify process gaps.
- Improve operational efficiency.
Customer Feedback Management
- Collect user feedback.
- Organize support ticket information.
- Track marketing requests.
- Combine customer insights into one organized channel.
- Provide useful customer feedback to Product Managers.
Tools and Governance
- Manage product operations software.
- Support Jira workflows.
- Maintain product operations best practices.
- Help teams follow established processes.
- Support product governance activities.
Go-to-Market Support
- Coordinate launch readiness.
- Work with marketing teams.
- Work with customer support teams.
- Share release notes.
- Coordinate training materials.

Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- 5+ years of experience in product operations.
- Experience in product management is relevant.
- Experience in data analysis is relevant.
- Experience in business operations is relevant.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of cloud architecture.
- Knowledge of modern DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with product analytics tools.
- Experience with roadmapping software.
- Jira experience.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks.
- Strong Scrum knowledge.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.

Work Environment

Compensation
The full-time salary range is $160K–$200K per year.
