About CASMAN Academy

CASMAN Academy is looking for a Virtual Math Teacher to support middle and high school students.

The teacher will deliver live online instruction and create an engaging virtual classroom. The position focuses on personalized learning and strong student support.

About the Position

The Virtual Math Teacher will be the main face and voice of CASMAN Academy Math for students.

The teacher will connect with students in real time and adapt instruction based on individual needs. The role also includes student feedback, recordkeeping, and communication with families.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live math instruction through an online classroom.
• Teach students through on-camera lessons.
• Create a structured virtual learning environment.
• Encourage student participation.
• Support student achievement.
• Use student performance data to personalize instruction.
• Identify learning gaps.
• Adjust teaching methods based on student needs.
• Provide timely feedback on student work.
• Provide meaningful feedback to students.
• Maintain accurate student records.
• Keep students and families informed about progress.
• Build positive relationships with students.
• Build positive relationships with families.
• Communicate with students and families professionally.
• Provide proactive support when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid secondary Michigan teaching certificate required.
• EX endorsement required.
• Strong classroom communication skills.
• Ability to teach effectively in a virtual setting.
• Ability to personalize instruction.
• Ability to review and use student performance data.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication skills with students and families.
• Professional and supportive approach.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability during the following hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM.
• Friday: 8:00 AM–11:30 AM.

Work Environment

• Fully remote.
• Live online teaching.

• Student-focused virtual classroom.
• Regular communication with students and families.

Compensation

Pay is $30K–$35K per year.
