About the Position
Bright Vision Technologies is looking for a Workday Application Developer.
The position will support Workday configuration, reporting, calculated fields, business processes, and Workday Extend application development.
The developer will work with HR, finance, IT, and other business teams. The role also involves translating business requirements into clean and maintainable Workday solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure Workday solutions.
- Build advanced Workday reports.
- Create composite reports.
- Develop calculated fields.
- Configure business processes.
- Configure condition rules.
- Support Workday security.
- Support Workday integrations.
- Develop Workday Extend applications.
- Support custom report design.
- Troubleshoot Workday issues.
- Support tenant management.
- Support Workday release activities.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Work with product and design teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams.
- Work with operations and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Deliver production-ready Workday solutions.
- Ensure solutions are clean and maintainable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Workday technical experience.
- Deep experience with Workday Report Writer.
- Experience with advanced reports.
- Experience with composite reports.
- Strong proficiency with calculated fields.
- Experience with Workday HCM.
- Experience with Workday Finance.
- Hands-on business process configuration experience.
- Experience with condition rules.
- Strong understanding of Workday security.
- Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend.
- Familiarity with Workday tenant management.
- Familiarity with Workday release processes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Pro certifications.
- Workday Extend application development experience.
- Familiarity with PRISM data ingestion.
- Experience with PRISM data modeling.
- Experience with multi-tenant Workday deployments.
- Experience with multi-region Workday deployments.
- Experience supporting Workday Payroll.
- Experience supporting Workday Financials.
