About the Position

Trade Syndicate is looking for an experienced Amazon E-Commerce Performance & Statistical Analyst.

This is primarily a data analysis and business performance position. It is not focused on Amazon campaign management or implementation.

The analyst will study Amazon advertising, sales, and profitability data. The role will identify trends, investigate performance issues, evaluate ASIN-level profitability, and provide recommendations to the U.S. management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Amazon advertising performance by ASIN.
• Analyze sales performance by ASIN.
• Analyze profitability by ASIN.
• Monitor Ad Sales and Total Sales.
• Track Ad Spend.
• Monitor TACoS, ACoS, and ROAS.
• Analyze Impressions, Clicks, CTR, and CPC.
• Track Purchases.
• Monitor Detail Page Views.
• Track New-to-Brand Orders.
• Analyze net margin by ASIN.
• Analyze contribution profitability.
• Identify declining profit margins.
• Investigate the likely causes of margin changes.
• Recommend corrective actions.
• Review top-selling ASINs at least twice each week.
• Review lower-priority ASINs at least once each week.
• Build and maintain historical Excel datasets.
• Create performance reports.
• Use historical data for trend analysis.
• Support forecasting and benchmarking.
• Support event planning.
• Analyze performance during events such as Prime Day.
• Use historical insights to improve future strategies.
• Clearly explain changes in performance.
• Identify the reasons behind performance changes.
• Explain the financial impact.
• Recommend practical business actions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Statistical Analysis, Applied Statistics, or a closely related statistics-focused field.
• At least 3 years of professional statistical or data analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong written English.
• Good professional spoken English.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly.
• Availability for at least 50% of daily working hours to overlap with 8:00 AM–4:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time.

Preferred Experience

• Amazon Seller Central experience.
• Amazon Advertising experience.
• E-commerce sales analysis experience.
• E-commerce profitability analysis experience.
• Experience working with ASIN-level performance data.

Technical Requirements

SQL experience is not required.

Python experience is not required.

Power BI experience is not required.

Tableau experience is not required.

Programming experience is not required.

Advanced Excel and statistical analysis skills are the main requirements.

Practical Assessment

Shortlisted candidates must complete a hands-on Excel and statistical analysis test before hiring.

Candidates will receive anonymized Amazon advertising, sales, ASIN, and profitability data with limited instructions.

The assessment will require candidates to:

• Work independently with the available data.

Candidates who are not highly confident with advanced Excel and statistical analysis should not apply.
