About the Position

Bright Vision Technologies is looking for a Storage Solutions Engineer with strong enterprise storage experience.

The engineer will design, deploy, and operate storage systems that support compute, virtualization, database, and Kubernetes workloads.

The role covers block, file, and object storage across data centers, edge environments, and cloud platforms. The position also focuses on storage performance, data protection, cost management, and automation.

• Support compute workloads.
• Support virtualization environments.
• Support database workloads.
• Support Kubernetes workloads.
• Manage block storage.
• Manage file storage.
• Manage object storage.
• Work across data center environments.
• Support edge storage environments.
• Support cloud storage environments.
• Optimize storage performance.
• Support data protection.
• Plan storage capacity.
• Manage storage costs.
• Automate storage operations.
• Troubleshoot storage issues.
• Troubleshoot network-related storage issues.
• Troubleshoot host-level storage issues.
• Integrate storage with VMware.
• Integrate storage with Kubernetes using CSI.
• Maintain reliable storage infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise storage engineering experience.
• Deep experience with NetApp ONTAP or Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade.
• Hands-on production experience with Ceph.
• Strong understanding of SAN.
• Strong understanding of NAS.
• Strong understanding of object storage protocols.
• Experience integrating storage with VMware.
• Experience integrating storage with Kubernetes CSI.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience using REST APIs for automation.
• Strong knowledge of storage performance.
• Strong capacity planning skills.
• Strong cost optimization skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot across storage, network, and host layers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• NetApp certifications such as NCDA or NCIE.
• Pure Storage certifications.
• Experience with hybrid-cloud storage replication.
• Familiarity with software-defined storage platforms beyond Ceph.
• Experience with object storage at petabyte scale.
• Exposure to AI and machine learning workloads with high I/O requirements.
