About the Position

Ingram Marine Group is looking for a Recruiter in the Nashville, TN area.

The Recruiter will find and attract candidates for open positions. The position also includes screening applicants, conducting interviews, supporting hiring managers, and helping with onboarding.

The Recruiter will also build relationships with schools, workforce organizations, and community partners. These relationships will help create strong talent pipelines for future hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and screen employment applications.
  • Assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Conduct candidate interviews.
  • Support hiring managers during the interview process.
  • Support the post-offer process.
  • Extend conditional job offers.
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Source candidates through multiple recruiting channels.
  • Work with the Communications team on recruiting campaigns.
  • Support employment branding campaigns.
  • Build industry and company awareness in the local community.
  • Develop relationships with local schools.
  • Partner with workforce programs.
  • Build connections with community organizations.
  • Represent Ingram at career fairs.
  • Attend other community recruiting events.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of the marine industry.
  • Working knowledge of the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Understanding of the roles being recruited.
  • Knowledge of employment law.
  • Understanding of recruiting and hiring compliance requirements.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to travel when needed.
  • Ability to take overnight trips.
  • Ability to work some weekends.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–3 years of experience required.

Work Environment

  • General office environment.
  • Travel is required.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
  • Weekend work may be required.
