Role Overview:

• Analyze and adjudicate new customer credit applications

• Make credit decisions aligned with lending policies

• Support strategic initiatives with stakeholders

• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations

Primary Duties:

• Evaluate mortgage and commercial credit applications

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards

• Monitor performance metrics and resolve issues

• Assist customers with credit-related transactions

• Maintain compliance with policies and regulations

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of mortgage underwriting experience

• Post-secondary degree in Business or related field

• FHA and VA underwriting experience in the U.S.

• Strong knowledge of HUD Handbook 4155.1 and 4155.2

• Experience with DU/LP web-based approval systems

Preferred Skills:

• Prior relationship management experience

• Strong financial analysis and tax return review skills

• Expertise in credit risk assessment and cash flow analysis

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
