Security Architecture & Risk Assessment:

  • Evaluate existing and planned IT infrastructure, applications, and end-user devices for security compliance
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities across systems and networks
  • Recommend remediation strategies to reduce security risks and improve system protection
  • Ensure systems align with established security and compliance standards

Compliance & Security Governance:

  • Implement and review security policies based on industry frameworks
  • Apply security standards such as NIST 800-53r5 and related compliance requirements
  • Support vulnerability management and security monitoring processes
  • Assist leadership with security reporting and risk management strategies

Technical Architecture Support:

  • Provide expert guidance on secure IT architecture implementations
  • Work closely with the Information Security Officer to define security standards and procedures
  • Support cloud computing security architecture and infrastructure protection
  • Assist with secure system design and technology evaluation

Team Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security architects
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders on security initiatives
  • Communicate technical security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support cross-team coordination for cybersecurity initiatives

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of information security technologies and risk assessment practices
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks including NIST 800-53r5
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and enterprise IT environments
  • Familiarity with cloud computing architecture and security best practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
