Job Overview:
As a Burger King Cook, you will handle food preparation, cooking, and presentation while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
- Set up and operate broiler, fryer, and grill stations according to line check sheets.
- Prepare all menu items according to specifications and plate presentation standards.
- Complete prep, freezer pull, and temperature checklist sheets.
- Follow safe food handling, storage, and waste control procedures.
- Maintain kitchen equipment per operating standards.
- Prioritize tasks based on restaurant and guest needs.
- Build strong communication and teamwork with leaders and co-workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Eligibility & Skills Required:
- Previous food service experience a plus but not required.
- Good verbal communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in fast-paced conditions.
