Key Responsibilities

Advise the Board on people, talent, culture, and governance policies

Support recruitment, development, and succession planning for Board and leadership roles

Help develop and monitor HR policies, performance frameworks, and compliance practices

Facilitate communication between Board, management, staff, and volunteers
Skills & Eligibility
-
Experience in human resources management and governance, preferably non-profit
-
Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and board governance

Strategic planning and executive-level advisory experience
-
Strong communication skills and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Additional Information

Volunteer commitment of approximately 6–8 hours per month

One-year term with possibility of extension

Non-voting committee role with potential pathway to Board Director position
