Job Overview

• Prepare and submit accurate claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers
• Research and apply changing federal and payer regulations to maximize reimbursement
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical and billing information
• Support hospital staff with billing education and compliance guidance

Daily Work Scope

• Perform timely follow-up with payers for reimbursement
• Track claim status and resolve billing issues
• Maintain detailed and updated account documentation
• Coordinate with managers and internal teams as required

Who Can Apply

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year healthcare or accounting experience or medical billing/coding course completed
• 1–3 years claims, insurance, or patient accounting experience preferred
• 3–5 years related experience preferred

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekends or holidays
• Remote full-time role (80 hours per 2-week pay period)
